Custom-fitted Silent Nite snore guards help you and your family enjoy quieter, more restful sleep. Comfortable, thin, and clinically proven to reduce snoring.

A woman looks frustrated in bed as her partner snores loudly, highlighting sleep disturbance issues.

A Prescription for Better Sleep

If snoring is keeping you or your loved ones awake at night, you're not alone. More than 80 million people in North America snore while sleeping—and when you consider spouses and children, as many as 160 million people are affected by snoring every night.

At Somerset Family Dentistry, we're proud to offer the Silent Nite Snoring Guard by Glidewell Laboratories, a custom-made oral appliance that can help you finally get the restful sleep you deserve.

How Silent Nite Works

Silent Nite is a prescription device that we custom-fit to your mouth. It's designed to gently position your jaw to keep your airway open during sleep, reducing or eliminating the vibrations that cause snoring.

The appliance is:

  • Flexible and comfortable – thin enough that most patients adjust quickly
  • Custom-made – fabricated from impressions of your teeth for a precise fit
  • Affordable – a cost-effective solution compared to many snoring treatments
  • Clinically proven – documented success in reducing annoying and unhealthy snoring

What to Expect

During your visit, we'll take impressions of your teeth and send them to the lab. Once your Silent Nite guard is ready, we'll ensure it fits comfortably and show you how to use and care for it. Most patients notice a difference within the first few nights.

If you or a family member is struggling with snoring, we'd be happy to discuss whether a snore guard is right for you. A quieter night's sleep may be closer than you think.

Common questions
Will the snore guard feel bulky or uncomfortable?+

Silent Nite is designed to be thin and flexible. Most patients adjust within a few nights and find it much more comfortable than they expected.

How is this different from a CPAP machine?+

A snore guard is a simple oral appliance—no mask, no hose, no electricity. It's quiet, portable, and easy to travel with. For many people with snoring (not severe sleep apnea), it's a much more convenient solution.

Can a snore guard help with sleep apnea?+

Silent Nite is primarily designed for snoring. If you have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, we'll work with your physician to determine the best treatment. In some cases, oral appliances can be effective for mild to moderate sleep apnea.
